Welcome

During this pandemic, I am also providing telehealth sessions through a HIPAA-compliant video platform. Are you a parent concerned about your child's mood or behavior? Or a teen who is struggling?

When life gets challenging or problems become overwhelming, a little guidance can make things better. I provide a warm, safe, and supportive environment, where we can work together to tackle life's challenges.

I am a Stanford-trained licensed psychologist and have significant experience conducting individual therapy and group therapy with children and teens, and providing parenting support.

My primary therapeutic approach involves cognitive behavioral therapy which is an evidence-based treatment that addresses how our thoughts influence our feelings and behaviors. If we change the way we think, it can help us act and feel better. My approach to care is strengths-based and culturally responsive. I also integrate animal-assisted interventions in my work with my therapy dog, Jethro.

I help children and adolescents dealing with anxiety, panic, phobias, ocd, grief/loss, anger, and school difficulties. I also provide parenting support.

I look forward to talking with you and answering any questions you have about the therapy process and how I can help. For a free phone consultation or to schedule an appointment, please call 650-204-7862 or email drmdizon@gmail.com.
